Canadian Journal of Medicine (CJM) is an open-access journal and is not without cost. It has been 6 years that the journal has been publishing articles free of charge. However, starting in 2025, the Article Processing Charge (APC) for each accepted paper will be €200 (euros) to cover a part of open-access publishing costs.
However, APC waivers are granted on manuscripts submitted by corresponding authors from low-income countries. We also have case-by-case discounts for authors from other countries dependent on their funds. The application for a waiver or discount has to be made during the submission process through the cover letter; otherwise, the request will not be considered.

Notice:
**The request for a waiver after the submission and review process will NOT be accepted and considered.
**The APC payment is charged only after the formal acceptance of the article.
**NO fees are charged during the submission or review process.
