As of January 1, 2018, I have the honor to serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Medicine. CJM has evolved from the Canadian Institute for Knowledge Development, which was founded in 2018. I am delighted to introduce new CJM, the first journal from the publisher in the area of medical studies. CJM provides a perfect opportunity to immerse oneself in the advancements of the fast-growing field of study and get published in a journal that has excellent reach and expectations of a significant impact.
CJM is the first open access journal in the field of general medicine (basic and clinical), and the first journal to focus on intersecting topics in various diseases. Considering the increased mobility of world populations and increasing globalization of world economies, the journal meets the growing need for the dissemination of research with strong implications for world health and medicine. Please check out our launch editorial.
CJM aims to be the leading international journal for the study of medicine. It will provide the primary forum for advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge on medical organizations and their management. Based on the feedback from the field and the obvious excitement around the journal is taking steps towards this goal already before its inaugural issue.
Any papers that you wish to submit, either individually or cooperatively, are much appreciated and will make a substantial contribution to the development and success of the journal.
Best wishes and thank you in advance for your contribution to the Canadian Journal of Medicine
